Privacy Policy

Centering is committed to the protection of its customers. This privacy policy will address important issues regarding the kinds of information Centering may collect from customers.  In lieu of this, the policy will satisfy the three following conditions:

 

(1) explain what kind of information Centering and ‘Centering services’ (the totality of goods, services, and products offered by Centering and/or Centering affiliates) could collect from customers

(2) explain what Centering will do with any collected information (and by implication, what Centering will not do with any collected information)

(3) explain how Centering will maintain customer rights with respect to any collected information

 
Centering is committed to customer privacy. Any customer information that Centering collects—including contact information, email, phone number, and identity information-will be collected with the customer in mind and will never be sold to a third party.

 Centering collects only the information that is necessary in serving the customer. Centering will never profit from the selling or sharing of any customer information, and Centering will never directly profit from contact information collected at any time.

The types of information Centering may collect include the following:

Name (first and last)

 Customer names may be collected so that any information, products, and services that the customer consents to may be correctly delivered and made accessible

 
Email address

Customer email information may be collected so that all information, products, and services that the customer consents to may be correctly delivered and made accessible. Customer email information is required for signing up to the email newsletter. There is no cost to this feature unless otherwise indicated, and the customer may always opt-out of email notices. Mail address

               Customer mailing addresses may be collected so that mailings, products, or other services can be properly delivered and made accessible to consenting customers. Customers may also be informed of relevant announcements, including product promotions, news and event-related information, or other important information via posted mail. Only those customers that consent to such information will be contacted via mail. Centering may also collect mail addresses for demographic information only. The customer may opt-out of mail notices at any time by emailing Marjorie@centeringtools.com or by calling 585-244-6210.

Phone number

                 Phone number information may be collected as a means for communication between Centering and its customers.  Additionally, phone number information may be collected as part of a system of demographic information collection.  In both instances, phone numbers will only be collected from customers who consent to Centering acquiring their phone numbers.  In both instances, customers will know for what use their phone number will satisfy.  In all cases, it is necessary that the customer have the right to opt-out of any phone list.  Customers wishing to be taken off phone contact lists should email marjorie@centeringtools.com or call (585)-244-6210.

 

Credit card information

                Customer credit card information may be collected so that any information, products, and services that the customer consents to purchasing may be delivered and made accessible in the fashion that the customer and Centering agree to prior to the completion of the transaction. Customer credit card information will only be taken when and if the customer intends and consents to the purchase of goods and services he/she is interested in. Credit card information will neither be used for any other purpose except the aforementioned, nor will credit card information be sold or used by other businesses. IP address
                Information regarding customer IP addresses may be collected for the sake of monitoring website activity. Centering monitors website activity so that it may improve information, goods, and services that it provides to its customers. Affiliated sites

Centering may offer some of our services in connection with other web sites. Personal information that the customer provides to those sites may be sent to Centering in order to deliver the service. Centering processes such information in accordance with this Policy. The affiliated sites may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

 
Customer rights:

               Centering takes privacy very seriously. Customers necessarily have the right to know what kind of information Centering collects or may collect. Customers necessarily have the right to opt-out of any mail, email, or alternative paid or unpaid service.
